What Orderblock is

A workspace for the part of trading that happens after a position closes. It imports closed trades from a broker connection or a statement, reconciles them against what the broker reported, computes performance metrics from them, and keeps your written journal entries attached to the individual trades they describe.

It covers forex, stocks, options and futures, and it is used the same way by someone running one account as by someone running ten.

What it is not, stated up front

Every item here is a deliberate decision rather than a gap in the roadmap.

Not a broker, and not able to trade
We do not hold funds and cannot place, modify or close a position. Every adapter uses read endpoints, and MetaTrader connects with an investor password specifically because that password cannot trade.
Not a signal service or a forecast
Nothing here predicts price. The AI review explains your own closed trades and is built to say when the sample cannot support a conclusion.
Not investment advice
We are not authorised to give it and we do not. Historical results and AI explanations do not indicate future performance, and trading carries a risk of loss.
Not an authoritative tax or compliance record
Your broker statement remains the authoritative document. Orderblock is the layer that makes those statements answerable.

The Orderblock editorial standard: how this site is published

These are mechanical rules enforced by the build, not aspirations in a style guide.

  1. Formulas come from the product, not from the copywriter

Every metric definition published on this site is read at build time from the application’s own metric registry — the same source the software computes with. A formula on a marketing page cannot drift from the formula in the product, because they are the same string.

  2. The broker catalogue is generated, not curated for effect

The supported-brokers page is generated from the product’s broker catalogue and grouped by the route each broker actually has. We do not list a logo whose only real route is a CSV upload and let it imply a live integration.

  3. Unsubstantiated superlatives fail the build

The release pipeline rejects claims such as “world’s #1”, “guaranteed returns”, “bank-level security” and “risk-free”. There is no independent ranking of trading journals, so we do not assert one, including about ourselves.

  4. Limits are published alongside capabilities

Route availability, provider conditions and per-account caveats appear on the same page as the feature they qualify, not in a footnote on a page nobody reads.

  5. Every page carries a review date

The date at the foot of each page is when its content was last reviewed, and it is the same value published as dateModified in the structured data.

Current status

Orderblock is a small, independently run service. MetaTrader 4 and 5 accounts connect live through terminals Orderblock runs; cTrader and the hosted brokerage network are collected every 15 minutes; everything else comes in by statement import. Broker and server compatibility is confirmed per account, and we would rather tell you a route is not available than imply one.

There is no independent security certification and we do not claim one. What we can describe is specific: HTTPS, email verification, server-side sessions, encrypted stored broker credentials, read-only broker access, and card details handled by Stripe rather than by us.

Corrections

If a figure, formula or claim on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and change the review date on the affected page. Send the page address and what you believe is incorrect to [email protected].

This applies to the metric definitions in particular. They are published so they can be checked against your own calculations and against other tools; a disagreement between us and another product is usually a definitional difference worth documenting rather than a bug in one of them.

Common questions about the company

Is Orderblock regulated?

No, and it does not need to be for what it does. Orderblock does not hold client funds, execute orders, or provide investment advice. It reads and analyses trading history that already exists. Your broker remains the regulated party in the relationship.

Who can see my trading data?

Your account data is yours. It is not sold, and it is not shared with brokers, data vendors or advertisers. Account context reaches OpenAI only when you consent to AI analysis, and the journal and analytics work without it.

How do you make money?

Subscriptions only. Pro at $24.99 per month and Elite at $49.99 per month, billed through Stripe. There is no advertising, no payment for broker placement in the catalogue, and no affiliate arrangement behind which broker appears where.

What happens to my data if the company stops trading?

Complete trade history export is available on every plan at any time, and we would rather you keep a current export than rely on us being here. Account deletion is in Settings.
