What Orderblock is, and is not
Orderblock is software for recording and analysing your own trading. It connects to your broker read-only or imports statements you provide, computes performance figures from closed trades, keeps your journal entries, and, if you turn it on, answers questions about that history.
Orderblock is not a broker, an investment adviser, a signal service or a trading platform. It does not hold funds, does not place, modify or close orders, and nothing it shows or says is a recommendation to trade. Figures are computed from the data your broker reports and are only as complete as that data. You remain responsible for every trading decision you make.
Orderblock is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority or any other financial regulator, and does not need to be, because it provides no regulated service.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to it.
You may use Orderblock for your own trading, or for accounts you are authorised to view. You may not use it to resell access, to scrape or redistribute its content, to probe its security except as described on the security page, or for anything unlawful.
Broker connections
When you connect a broker account you confirm that you are entitled to grant read-only access to it and that the credentials you provide are read-only. For MetaTrader that means an investor password, never a master password. Orderblock stores connection credentials encrypted and uses them only to read history, positions and account state.
A connection depends on your broker continuing to allow it. Brokers change servers, restrict investor logins and alter export formats, and we cannot promise that any particular account will stay connected. If a route stops working we will say so in the product rather than fail silently.
Subscriptions, trial and payment
Orderblock is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription in US dollars at the prices shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Payment is taken by Stripe; we do not see or store card numbers.
Eligible new subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start it, and the subscription begins and the first payment is taken when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Each subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel. We will tell you by email before a price changes for you.
You can cancel at any time from Settings through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; you keep access until then and your data, exports and billing records stay reachable afterwards. Where you have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days, you may exercise it by email, and we will refund any payment for the period not used.
If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. If it keeps failing we may suspend the subscription until it is paid. Plan limits, such as the number of connected trading accounts, are enforced by the product; exceeding one never deletes your data.
Your data and your content
Your trades, journal entries, statements and settings are yours. You give us the permission we need to store and process them in order to run the service for you, and no more. We do not sell them, share them with brokers or advertisers, or use them to trade. How we process personal data is described on the privacy page, which forms part of these terms.
You can export your complete trade history at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your workspace; operational backups and billing records are kept for the periods described on the privacy page.
If you turn on the coach, the questions you ask and the trade data needed to answer them are sent to the AI provider named on the privacy page for that purpose. You can turn it off again at any time.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Orderblock available at all times but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, broker outages, provider failures and events outside our control can interrupt the service or delay the arrival of a trade. Live sync depends on the broker, the terminal and the network between them, and a trade may arrive later than it happened.
We improve the product continuously and may add, change or retire features. If we retire something that materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of any period you have paid for and not used.
Our responsibility to you
We provide Orderblock with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Beyond that, we are not liable for trading losses, for decisions you make using figures shown in Orderblock, for a trade arriving late or not at all, or for errors in data your broker provides. Our total liability to you under these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using Orderblock at any time by cancelling your subscription and, if you wish, deleting your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms in a serious or repeated way, or if we are required to by law, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
If we close the service, we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email, keep export available throughout that period, and refund any payment for time not used.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in. If a part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
We may update these terms. The review date at the foot of this page is the date they last changed, and if a change is significant we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Orderblock after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Orderblock can be reached at [email protected] for anything about these terms.
